Our commitment to making CoinFlipTool easier to use across different abilities, devices, and assistive technologies
CoinFlipTool is designed to be usable by as many people as possible, including users who rely on keyboard navigation, screen readers, reduced motion, larger text, or higher contrast. We aim to follow relevant WCAG 2.1 AA guidance where applicable and continue improving accessibility over time.
Goal: To provide an inclusive coin flipping experience that works well with keyboard navigation, screen readers, reduced motion preferences, and other assistive technologies.
Full keyboard support allows you to use CoinFlipTool without a mouse:
CoinFlipTool is built with standards-based screen reader support:
Voice Announcements provides audio feedback for manual flip results and key application interactions, helping users who benefit from auditory information.
Voice Announcements is only available on computers and only on the Manual Flips page.
Flip a Coin Mode: A mobile-only coin-first layout for quick 50/50 decisions. It keeps the interface minimal, respects Reduce Motion, and does not save history or statistics while active.
We're committed to improving accessibility and welcome feedback that can help make CoinFlipTool clearer, easier to use, and more reliable across different devices and assistive technologies.
